About me

Allen Gonzales-Willert is an International Program Specialist with the Commercial Law Development Program (CLDP) in the Office of the General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce), where he works on the Central Asia, Eastern Europe, and Pakistan team. Prior to joining CLDP, Mr. Gonzales-Willert worked at a non-profit organization addressing food insecurity in rural Albany County, Wyoming, where he specialized in community development, including event planning, outreach, food distribution efforts, and volunteer development and coordination. Mr. Gonzales-Willert’s experience also includes serving as a Peace Corps TEFL Volunteer in Ukraine. He taught English at a school, and his secondary projects included teaching public speaking and providing opportunities for youth to develop leadership skills. Mr. Gonzales-Willert holds an associate’s degree from Long Beach City College and graduated magna cum laude from California State University Long Beach with a B.A. in Communication Studies.
